Wolfburn Langskip Single Malt

Langskip ist das nordische Wort für das Wikinger Langschiff. Wolfburns Heimatstadt Thurso nach dem nordischen Gott des Donners Thor benannt sein. Dieser Single Malt reifte für 5 Jahre nur in First Fill Ex-Bourbon-Fässern und wird mit 56 % Vol. abgefüllt.

Tasting Notes von Wolfburn: Nose: Aromas of fruit blossom meld with dried apples and light oak. In the background you’ll find traces of raisins and dates mixed with rich fruit cake. Palate: Flavours burst onto the palate, rich and sweet, including maple syrup, dark chocolate, almonds and raisins. The finish lingers nicely – hints of vanilla gently fade away with a warming trace of caramel at the end.
